Terms and Conditions
GENERAL
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions. All orders made are subject to the acceptance of these conditions and deemed to be accepted by when you are placing an order. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and supersede all previous editions.
Payment for Goods
We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these conditions. You are deemed to accept the conditions when you place an order for goods with us. Our contract with you only begins when we confirm acceptance of your offer to purchase goods from us. An order will not take place (and we will not be deemed to have accepted your order) until we have validated and confirmed your payment. Any communication, which you receive from us prior to validation, is not to be deemed as an acceptance of your order. In the event of any pricing error occurring within our website, within a written or verbal quotation, or contained within any fax or email correspondence however received, all incomplete orders shall be deemed void.
Many of the goods we sell are of a technical nature and whilst we endeavour to publish as much information as is practical about our goods, the descriptions of the goods are as set out on the website. All drawings, photographs, descriptive matter, colour, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods. They will not form part of the contract between us.
Your order for goods is subject to stock availability. If we do not supply goods to you for any reason we will inform you of the situation and will not charge you for these goods. We are not liable for any financial loss incured by you relating to interest payments or loss of earnings, or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order.
Payments for goods must be made in accordance with our purchase procedure as set out on our website. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch. We can accept no responsibility if any details you provide us with that are incorrect or if any order is held up as a result of incorrect or unsubstantiated details.
Guarantee
All new goods are sold with the benefit of a minimum 12 month manufacturers guarantee. Full warranty details are available with your product or form our customer services team. It is your responsibility to complete and return the purchase registration form enclosed with the goods to the manufacturer.
If these goods are deemed tampered with in any way your warranty will become void and you will become responsible for the costs of replacement and return shipping. If no manufacturing fault is found you will be responsible for the costs of replacement and shipping. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. Will not be liable for transit damage that may occur on any product you have returned to us for replacement. We strongly suggest that you make sure you have used sufficient packaging to protect your product and insure against damage before returning any product for replacement. For advice on how to pack goods safely before return please contact our customer service team.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, modifications to, failure(s) not due to manufacturing defect(s), when any warranty void sticker has been tampered with, failure to comply with the original manufacturers conditions of intended use, any accessories supplied. Beds Direct cannot be held responsible for any costs arising from unauthorised repairs to equipment during warranty period. Only Beds Direct Warehouse or the equipment manufacturer or their authorised service agents can carry out any warranty work. Any unauthorised repairs or repair attempts will void the warranty.
In relation to new goods the company will accept liability for defective goods only to the extent that the company is entitled to make a claim under the manufacturer’s or publishers warranty and obtain from the manufacturer or publisher a refund, credit, repair or replacement of the defective goods.
Any damage incurred must be reported to us within 7 DAYS of receipt of the item. Failure to do this will render any claim null and void.
Out of Stock Products
Please note that there may be items in our onlline store which are delivered directly from our supplier. Where such a product is out of stock with our supplier, we will contact you to let you know the expected delivery date or to offer you an alternative.
You can then choose either to wait for the product to come back in stock at the supplier, accept the alternative or receive a full refund.
Credit and Exchanges
We will provide a full refund (excluding delivery and collection charges) if the product you have selected is found to be unsuitable within 7 working days following delivery providing the product is returned in its original packaging, in ‘as new’ condition, unmarked and all polyurethane packaging unsealed.
Please note that refusing a delivery does not constitute cancellation of an order. Any order cancellations must be notified to our customer service team.
Vacuum Packed Mattresses. This particular product will be exempt form the statutory 7 day cooling off period where the products have been unsealed, and your right to cancel will have ended for reasons of health and hygiene as the product will be deemed to have been used. We recommend that you make full use of our sales team for advice prior to purchase. We adhere to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 no:2334. If a product has been ordered to a bespoke size then this item is non refundable due to being a specific individual requirement.
All returns carriage costs will be borne by you the sender.

PayPal uses maximum strength encrypted technology supported by the consumer’s browser using a Secure Socket Layer in all of their communication with you, ensuring maximum safety when paying online through Beds Direct Warehouse.
In the event of unsatisfactory delivery we hope you will accept our sincere apologies and we will investigate the matter to ensure your order is delivered as soon as possible after your notification.

Delivery
Delivery of the goods shall be made to UK mainland addresses only and when external carriers are used, must be signed for. If you require delivery and live in the following postcodes, KW, IV, AB, PH, DD, PA, NR, SA, CT, TR, PL, TQ, EX, DTLD, BH, Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight or Isle of Man then please contact the sales office on 01427 617824 for a quote on delivery costs and lead times as these may take longer than the product page states due to being out of area (on the above postcodes).
Selected products are available on FREE 48 HOUR delivery to any UK mainland destination except those post codes previously mentioned. These products are clearly marked in the description
All Deliveries within a 30 mile radius of DN21 2AJ are FREE and will be handled by our own team UNLESS stated or part of the above FREE 48 HOUR service and will be placed in the room of choice at the owners risk.
Deliveries further than 30 miles from DN21 2AJ are subject to a £25 delivery charge UNLESS stated otherwise in product description. These deliveries are made by Courier to ground floor only, however if you do require delivery to a room of choice then please contact the sales office on 01427 617824 where a quote will be given.
The address will be that registered with your payment card issuer, unless you request otherwise and we agree to such request. (at our sole discretion)
We will always attempt to deliver your goods if in stock within 7-10 working days (with exception of weekends & public holidays) but time shall be of the essence. If we are unable to deliver the goods for any reason you will be notified and will not be obliged to pay for the goods. However, we shall not be liable for any loss, which may be suffered by you caused by any delay of delivery unless caused by our negligence. If delivery of the goods is delayed by more than 30 days , you shall be entitled to contact us and cancel the order. Any monies paid in respect of the goods, which are not delivered, will be refunded.
Goods, other than faulty goods, may not be returned after 7 days unless we agree that there is a good reason for us to receive such goods back. If we agree to accept these goods back in stock they are subject to a £69 re-stocking fee. Incorrectly ordered goods or non-delivery (customer out) items are subject to a £69 re-stocking fee. We regret that cannot accept returns of the following, divan bases, fixed frames, pillows, mattresses and products that have been made to a bespoke size or personalised. The above products will be exempt from the statutory 7 day cooling off period where the products have been unsealed, and you right to cancel will have ended for reasons of health and hygiene as the product will be deemed to have been used. We recommend that you make full use of our sales team for advice prior to purchase. We adhere to the Customer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 no: 2334.
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must inform us as soon as possible. We shall arrange collection of the goods (other than used goods) and will either replace the goods at no extra charge, or refund any monies paid by you for the goods.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
The returns and refunds policy and procedure applies to all returned goods whether they are unwanted gifts, goods for exchange, incorrect items, damaged or defective items. This does not affect your Statutory cancellation rights (see below).
Return of Order
To return items please contact Beds Direct Warehouse by e-mail or post using the address/information on the contact us page before sending the product back to Beds Direct Warehouse.
Unwanted items must be returned within 28 days of receipt for a refund of amounts paid.
Beds Direct Warehouse must be informed as soon as is practically possible, ideally within 24 hours, of the receipt of damaged or incorrect goods and of the intention to return them. (This does not affect your statutory rights on damaged goods).
Cancellation of Order
To cancel an order the consumer must inform Beds Direct Warehouse in writing (by fax, letter or e-mail). Please note that you are free to cancel your order up to 14 days from when you received the goods. Goods should always be carefully packaged and sent back using a reliable delivery service and returned in a saleable condition.
Beds Direct Warehouse will refund the returned item(s), including the outgoing postage, within 30 days of notification of cancellation provided goods have been returned in the condition in which they were sent.
To Change an Order
To change an order simply cancel the first order following the above guidelines and create a new order for the desired alternative.
